ConnectIn Groups had a surprise when Mena, a visiting teacher from a German Montessori School in Cairo, came to lead a fun art class with the children. We discovered each others creativity and explored expressing ourselves through art, practicing to illustrate what makes us most happy or afraid.
ConnectIn Groups has relocated into a new space with more opportunities for everyone! Our completely renovated center has two classrooms, one dedicated to the kindergarten, a kitchen, and a play area with crafty games and toys outside for the kids. Come see what we’ve been working on!
ConnectIn Groups gathered to enjoy a beautiful Spring day together. The children played running freely in the desert sands and shared a communal meal in a garden luscious with date palms.
In November 2016, ConnectIn Groups started a special course for Siwan girls/women at a Siwan home. Due to cultural norms, women cannot visit public places (like our training center) by themselves. A solution was to start our classes at a house.
